A Preemie at 38 weeks weighing 9.5 lbs drops down to 7.8 lbs at 17 weeks and diagnosed as Baby GERD. Prescribed Omeprazole and solids which made condition infinitely worse. Rescued in 5 days.

Thank you for your detailed report of your baby’s progress since taking Nat Phos 6x which I prescribed for him.
I shall copy your post on that date to contrast it with his response today, a few days after treatment with my “Joepathy” (Google).
I would like to inform you that I am over 91 years in age am retired from my official duties as the CEO in my Business organization which is now headed by the youngest of my 3 sons. I am devoting my time in helping all who seek my assistance including babies like yours who contact me on this my Website.
I shall post this case separately on my Website.

“My 17 week old soon suffers from acid reflux. I’m currently exclusively breastfeeding and plan to introduce solids in the form of oats porridge to him in a couple of weeks. He has been taking omeprazole for the past 8 weeks and although it helps, as he gains weight it stops working and the doctors have to further increase dosage for it to work again. I would prefer he was not on this medication at all.He was born at 38 weeks via emergency c-section. He weighed 9.5 pounds at birth and symptoms started surfacing at 4 weeks.
He now weighs circa 7.8kg at 17 weeks (he’s a big baby). He feeds well although sometimes I find it’s for comfort. May you please advice me on how I can help him thank you.”
Just wanted to say thank you so much for you help and to keep you posted on our progress. I believe someone may find this useful in time to come. Please advice on how I and when I should start reducing the Nat Phos all things remaining equal. Really appreciate your help. I have had a completely happy and different child for the past few weeks.

24 hours:

First 6 feeds fine

Minimal spit up with first 6 in fact little to no vomiting

Was squirming in discomfort, arching back about 3/4 times in the day and crying but would stop

Difficult to put down to sleep, kept squirming.

Vomited his nighttime feed early hours of the morning . Difficult to put to bed, kept squirming and writhing in pain. No crying though

Day 2:

Woke up happy and was generally ok through the day

Burping and passing wind which smells sometimes.
Cat napped in the day, was woken up by wind and flatulence.

Was a bit fussy in the evening. Took a while to put to sleep. Kept writhing as if in pain.

Caught him gulping several times. It didn’t seem to bother him too much. Also vomited a couple of times which didn’t seem to bother him

After night feed, seemed less distressed. Fell asleep in a third of the time. First time in four nights he’s gone down so quick. Less squirming and writhing too.

Day 3:
Woke up pretty happy. Put him on his back and he seemed comfortable.

Still gulping vomit sometimes when I put him on his back for happy change. I’m assuming that’s because he’s come off gaviscon which was making his stomach contents thicker.

Still farting quite a bit. Has very very smelly farts. Have given him some probiotics. Hoping he will nap better today.

In general, he seems a much happier baby with the odd irritation here and there.

Irritation reduced after he had a very very smelly poo

Was so much easier to put to bed tonight. Slept during feed

Struggled to sleep after night feed. Was awake almost an hour but slept very well thereafter

Day 4: woke up very cheerful. Put him on his back and no signs of discomfort

Two cat naps in the afternoon then a gd long one.

Seemed agitated towards end of day

Night feed went well. Wouldn’t settle after and didn’t go back to sleep. Was awake for over an hour and a half . Had to give another feed

Day 5 – 9:
The happiest I have ever seen him. We have gone through several developmental milestones this week from rolling to being able to grab his toys and giggling.

Still passing smelly farts. Pooh’s on day 8 after 5 days.

Poo less smelly than the first.

I think he may be teething

Day 10:
Drooling and agitated today. Keeps rubbing his nose and eyes. Has cried several times. Not sure if it’s teething related or reflux.
I’m sure the reflux has gone away so will continue to monitor.

    Thank you

I shall copy my default therapy for Baby GERD which I have prescribed for hundreds of babies and which I hope will help your baby too.

The remedy is Nat Phos 6x which is a Biochemic Cell Salt and is NOT a drug. It is absolutely safe in use and you may like to look it up on Google.

You will give baby half a tablet dissolved in milk a few minutes before every feed and the balance half immediately after a feed but you will not exceed a total of 6 tablets (12 halves) in 24 hours.

You may like to try to reduce the quantity of milk you give for each feed to enable baby’s digestion to stabilize. You will however feed more often. It is essential that you burp baby immediately after every feed.

Babies do not always do a poo daily. Some babies can go up to 5 days to do so. A gentle massage of her abdomen after every feed in a clockwise direction usually stimulates evacuation.

You will avoid eating all food that can cause any distress to baby. You must know that they are passed on to baby through your breast milk.

It is best not to vaccinate Baby till s/he is over 2 years old as the after effects in some cases can add to the problems with GERD.
Do not give the MMR Vaccine in One shot as there is plenty of evidence on the Web of severe side effects which can result. You are advised to give it in 3 separate shots if you must do so, after baby is 2 years old.

Do not give Baby any solid food till s/he is over 8 months of age.

You (the mother) will take Nat Phos 6x dose 2 tablets after each of 3 meals daily. The idea is that your milk will pass the effect to baby. You may like to know that Nat Phos 6x will help to reduce your weight by 1kg per week very safely.

If you discover that baby does not respond to the Nat Phos 6x alone and this has occurred in a few cases, you will contact me again and I shall then prescribe another remedy to reinforce the action of Nat Phos 6x.

You will stop all other drugs you may be giving baby when you start on my therapy.

    • Joe says:

I shall copy below my default therapy aka “Joepathy” which many Diabetics are using today to control their BS levels.

The remedy I have prescribed is Arnica 6c in the Wet dose which is taken thrice daily.

Mag Phos 6x dose 2 tablets taken thrice daily have also helped to reduce BS levels and you can add this to your daily dosage.

Please note that you will most likely notice a dip in your BS level within 24 hours of starting my therapy and you will then have to reduce your dosage of either Metformin or of Insulin as it must be maintained around 110.

Type I patients have confirmed that they discovered their BS levels were reduced by about 20% within a day of their starting on this therapy.

Type II patients will have to monitor their BS levels on a daily basis to ensure that their BS is stabilized at around 110 and they will reduce the dosage of the drugs that they are using daily to maintain this level. The Arnica 6c and the Mag Phos 6x are taken as prescribed.

The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:

Order the remedy in the Liquid pack in Alcohol, also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 5 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard at least 6 times before you sip a capfull of the bottle or a large teaspoonful which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this enhances the effect of the remedy on the user.

Exercise is essential to help the Diabetic and unfortunately many are not in the habit of a daily routine of exercise which in many cases is the reason for the increase in Blood Sugar levels. You are advised to start with a brisk walk and you must ensure that you sweat it out to derive any benefit from the exercise.

Cinnamon powder is also useful to reduce BS levels and a quarter teaspoonful can be taken brewed as a tea twice daily. Okra or Bandakka which grows in the tropics also helps to reduce BS levels. Okra is used by cutting up a tender pod and inserting it into a glass of water which is left overnight and the water is drunk on an empty stomach the morning after.
Turmeric has also been discovered to help reduce BS levels and can be used in a similar manner to the Cinnamon.

Do not use Coffee, Cola beverages, preserved foods like sausages, ham and bacon as they contain Saltpeter.

    Hi,
I was hoping you can help my son. My pediatrician physical therapist showed me your site. My son is 2 months old and suffers from silent reflux. He sleeps best when he is held and hates to lay on his back. He is breastfed, gets fussy, chokes and now he is spitting up more often after feeds. I am giving him probiotics once a day in the morning. He is still stiff and stomach is hard when on his back. Please let me know what I can do to help him. Thank you so much!

    Hi There,
My son is a year and has reflux since birth. Our pediatrician put him on famotidine which help minimally and we stopped after a few months of use.
My son is was and still is breastfeeding. The reflux turned from outwardly presenting itself in vomiting and regurgitating to silent reflux. It wasn’t so bad from 6 to 12mos. So we were hoping he was growing out of it, but now as I introduce more foods the silent reflux is getting worse. He is coughing and choking on it and his voice is very horse. I have read your protocol on the Nat Phos 6x and I will be starting that. I am wondering about food eliminating for him or for myself. We dont eat gluten or soy and only use raw a2 goat dairy. I haven’t changed my diet recently but his silent reflux is worse then ever. Would this be easier if I were to stop breastfeeding? Thank you for any advice

    • Joe says:

It seems to me that your son’s digestion is not able to process solids. He is a year old and should normally be able to digest solids at 8 months or earlier and you can try to wean him off Breast Milk slowly by introducing solids and you can also continue the goats milk which he seems able to tolerate.

You will continue to give him Nat Phos dose 1 tablet after every feed.

      Report progress.

    Good night,

I am planning to start your Nat Phos protocol with my 2 months old baby tomorrow to hopefully resolve his silent reflux. However the tablets I bought contain lactose and we have beeen dairy free for the last 3 weeks which has also helped him.
I have read the content is medication and tablets is not enough to produce a response but I wouldn’t like to trigger his intolerance to cows milk now after 3 weeks clean; but I am struggling to find any brands without lactose.
Do you have any recommendations for these cases where there is silent reflux and ACMP?
    thank you.
