Consider other methods to eradicate dengue

Tuesday, 09 August 2011 01:01
Despite all the remedial or preventive measures, the dengue and viral flu epidemics have reached their worst-ever proportions this year with some 115 deaths and more than 14,000 people being affected by dengue. It is clear that western medicine or allopathy has had little effect in curbing the epidemic and the government needs to act urgently in uitilisng remedial measures available in other forms of medicine. Health action groups have for several years been urging the government to work out a National Health Policy where all forms of medicine – ayurveda, alopathy, homoeopathy and acupuncture among others are outlined and the different forms of medicine are used to treat different ailments. While the government works out a National Health Policy as a long-term measure a Sunday newspaper reported that the Sri Lanka representative of Homoeopaths Without Borders says homoeopathy has a safe and effective remedy for dengue and the viral flu.All patients may not be cured as fast and effectively as some have been, but it is known that homoeopathy has no side effects and there is nothing to lose but everything to gain in giving patients this remedy.

According to representative Joe de Livera, who has studied and has been closely associated with this science for the past 40 years and been a consultant on many homoeopathic forums including his own www.joedelivera.com,  this remedy was used at the request of the Colombo Municipal authorities last year by a homoeopath Dr Imthias Latif. He treated patients at municipal centres in Kompanna Veediya, Kuppiyawatta, Mattakkuliya and at the epidemiology centre of the Colombo Municipality. Thousands of patients were treated by this homoeopath and the majority confirmed they were cured overnight.  A meeting was held at the World Health Organisation (WHO) office in Colombo in August last year. It was attended by the WHO chief here, Dr Harsha de Silva the Health Ministry’s Director of Health in charge of the Western Province and several doctors. The discussion centred on promoting the use of homoeopathic remedies, but unfortunately follow up action was not taken.

Last Friday the Health Ministry discussed this possibility and we hope that action will be taken at least now.

Homoeopathy has a specific remedy which has been prescribed and used for more than two centuries but the remedies are highly diluted to infinitesimal levels and do not qualify for logical acceptance of their efficacy, although they have been proved to work to cure many diseases like asthma, eczema, gastritis and fever, to mention just four common diseases that affect people.

The homoeopathy remedy used is Eupatorium Perfoliatum 200c which is often used to treat a disease of viral origin.

The liquid dose method is used in giving remedies where three drops of the remedy are mixed in alcohol into a 500 mililitre bottle of spring water. After just one teaspoon of the remedy many patients are likely to recover.

We hope this cure will be considered seriously by the Health Ministry and western medical professionals for the common good of the people and the country as it is likely to help in eradicating dengue before it reaches endemic proportions.

Please spread the word around, especially if you live in a tropical country where Dengue is prevalent that the remedy I have identified.
EUPATORIUM PERFOLIATUM 200C in the Wet dose taken every 2 hours CURES the patient suffering from Dengue usually within the space of just 4 hours.

It is unfortunate that in Sri Lanka where I live that the medical profession just refuses to use this Homeopathic remedy to help patients as it is against their rules.

We have had over 16000 recorded cases of patients affected by Dengue and perhaps over 3 times that number whose cases have not been recorded with over 120 fatalties but the doctors seem to prefer to see patients getting infected and dying as their patron BIG PHARMA will lose money if they were to use Eupat Perf 200 to CURE Dengue.

I wanted to add that no doubt Eup Per 200c works well in wet doses during the illness but if the same is taken as prophylactic in the area where dengue is spread, can prevent ones from getting the disease. I have used it and found the results satisfactory. It should be taken weekly first and then after 3 weeks try to take every 3 days at night. What you say Joe?
Nowadays Pakistan is invaded badly. Please speak more loudly. Thanks

      To Shakir

Thank you for commenting on my “Joepathy” for Dengue.

You may like to know that the reason why I classified this therapy under Joepathy which as you may be aware was a term coined by a group of classical homeopaths some years ago to deride my therapy which was distinct from the classical formula based on Hahnemann’s diktat to treat the “Totality of the Symptoms presented by the patient with a SINGLE remedy”.

I am self taught in Homeopathy and in other persuits and I believe that my deliberate deviation from the rules has invariably proved to be more positive in the Cure of the Patient in comparison to adhering to the classical formula which is usually not as positive.

I have steadfastly prescribed a remedy that I have found has worked for one patient to the next who presents the same ailment as I have discovered that my therapy invariably works far more effectively than the classical formula. I do have Radar on my computer and can emulate the classical therapy but I prefer to use my own diagnosis and therapy as I have usually found them more positive in curing the patient’s illness.

I used Eupat Perf 200 in the dry pellets like other Homeopaths for many years but soon discovered that some of them did not respond to the dry dose. It was then that I changed over to the Wet dose, which term I coined in 2005 in consultation with one of the top Homeopaths in the world today, Dr Luc de Schepper who was here for a few weeks to treat the survivors of our Tsunami. This Wet dose therapy for Dengue works like a charm and the patient is usually out of bed in under 4 hours after the first dose. This form of Miracle Cure is not possible with the dry pellets.

The use of Eupat P 200 in the Wet dose as a Prophylactic is very positive and I prescribe one dose nightly to anyone at high risk with an infected patient in his household. For general use I advise 1 dose daily for 3 days and 1 dose every fourth of fifth day to avoid infection.

The major problem I have encountered is that the government doctors in our hospitals just refuse to use the Eupat Perf which I have offered them free of charge because they have been forbidden to use Homeopathic remedies even though they do not have any drug to help victims who are dying daily with about 200 for 2011 alone so far.

I presume that even in your country Pakistan you will encounter the same problem as here.

I appreciate your work for sick people of the age, I am very much fan of Dr. Luc and read his writing and happy to know his visit to your country and meeting with you.
Although it’s everywhere in the world that old medicine is against homeopathy but when epidemic spreads and a Homeopath provides relief to some patients then public knows about the truth. As far as government level is concerned they are doing much but the virus is spreading speedily. Actually this year heavy and continuous rain have struck here and mosquitoes are bringing up themselves speedily.

Your prophylactic protocol is better. I will try to follow. Thanks for your reply.

      To Shakir

I am glad to note that you have been one of my fans and that you also admire Luc’s writings.

I owe my conversion from the Dry dose lactose pellets to the Wet dose which I use exclusively as I have discovered that it is far more effective than the dry dose.

A good example is that the pellets will not CURE a full blown case of Dengue. The Wet dose if used before the patient’s Platelet count drops below 20000, will do so. I have not had any failures in all cases I have treated with the Wet dose.

I prescribe the Wet dose to be taken by the patient every 1 hour on Day 1 and every 2 hours on Day 2 and 3 hours on Day 3 by which time the patients is cured. It is important that the patient takes the remedy for at least 1 week after he is OK but at a reduced frequency. I discovered that the virus seems to stage a return if the patient stops the remedy as soon as he is OK which is usualy within 24 hours.

      Where do you live?

As a prophylactic too, it has so far helped the inmates of the household and I hope that none will contract this dread disease.

  4. Shakir says:

    I’m from Karachi, Joe
I’m of your mind regarding the use of wet doses, it’s as per instructions of Hahnemann and it’s the way by which mucus membrane of mouth gets in touch with plenty of remedy. Curative action starts and the patients feel it also.
Thanks for sending the protocol again.
My best wishes for your healthy life.

Can Homeopathy help in curing or controlling Psoriasis?

    • Joe says:

      To Ebert

I regret that I have not succeeded in curing a case of Psoriasis.

You can however read an article I have published under Articles where I have detailed my therapy which has helped but not cured a case of Psoriasis in a patient.
